This was the very first moment when Ritsuka Uenoyama meets Mafuyu Sato, one day in his normal napping spot.

we would take a moment to introduce the GIVEN live-action series, that had blown us away with its subtle emotional anime series and movie under its wing, the franchise has made us fall in love with the cute characters and their relationships.

At the studio, Ritsuka shows Mafuyu where to place his fingers. As he holds the guitar in his hands, Mafuyu experiences the exact same feeling he had before with Ritsuka.

Mafuyu begins to string the guitar repeatedly with Ritsuka getting annoyed.

with Mafuyu nodding in response.

Ritsuka voicing to himself that he has no idea if he is actually getting through to him,

Akihiko and Haruki walk into the studio while asking whether Mafuyu is serious about playing music , if so then he absolutely needs one thing.

which is a part-time job… he should choose one job from the magazines… which leaves Mafuyu scared.

Haruki tells Mafuyu what about a concert venue. Akihiko agrees that it is a good idea that he is able to see some shows for free.

On their breaktime at school, Ritsuka teaches Mafuyu stringing from top to bottom.

Ritsuka thinks to himself that Sato is a much faster learner than he thought he would be,

Ritsuka tells himself that it is sort of nice to watch someone grow, but that Mafuyu is still a mystery to him. Ritsuka wonders why he is so interested in music and that his Gibson guitar is not one beginner usually use, much less a high schooler owning.

Ritsuka asks Mafuyu if he got that guitar from his dad, but he answered that he does not have a dad. Ritsuka feels sorry and turns to a different question on what kind of music he likes.

Mafuyu does not know, but there is a song that plays in his memory all the time. Mafuyu does not know the name, but it sounds like this;

Ritsuka's heart begins to pound and begins to wonder to himself what that was, as a bright light appears from the darkness with Ritsuka thinking that it's almost like... Ritsuka's cheek and he lowers his head down blushing

Haruki becomes annoyed when he hears a motorcycle that turns out to be Akihiko and Yayoi who have a little moment with each other... until Akihiko notices Haruki.

Akihiko comes over to Haruki and asks if he got the text from Ritsuka,

Haruki tells Akihiko that he presumed that this would happen. Akihiko questions Haruki about what's with the big words.

Akihiko takes a smoke and continues with what Ritsuka said to him by saying …..

Haruki questions what that's supposed to mean.

Ritsuka get frustrated on what just happened and hits his head on a desk,

while the other students are cleaning. Shogo asks Ritsuka that he's been really weird lately. Ritsuka explains that he invited Mafuyu into his band.

however, Mafuyu tells Ritsuka that he doesn't think he should.

Ritsuka becomes shocked and wonders what's that even supposed to mean.

Shogo tells Ritsuka that he didn't think that Mafuyu would reject him. Ritsuka becomes annoyed.

At the studio, Mafuyu didn't even show up. Haruki tells Ritsuka that Mafuyu had a job interview today, that Mafuyu texted him.
