During the day of the performance, Mafuyu breaks his Gibson string, Ritsuka recalls fixing Mafuyu's strings..
these strings are similar to one's heart.
when the pain is too much to bear..
it would feel like a certain string laid across your chest is about to snap.
it would really snap.. and you would think it can never be fixed again.
but if there's someone who can replace the string..
it may also fix the broken string in his heart.
that's the way Ritsuka thinks at least.
thus he was trying to give him a little push, but end up realizing that Mafuyu was the one pulling him up.
ever since Mafuyu showed up.. his music turns into shattered and disconnected pieces . A better approach is to reframe that feeling as excitement - a sensation that causes arousal of emotion.

Ritsuka trying to put his feelings into words.
the band notices the mic that was left on the stage & asks Mafuyu if he decided not to sing or……
if they're going with a "lalala" strategy.
looking back at Mafuyu..
Ritsuka softly pat his shoulder.. while saying..
Recalling what it had felt like…
formless tickles crawled up all the way to the tip of his heart.
Mafuyu sings his unfinished lyrics.. with Ritsuka, haruki and Akihiko are left flabbergasted..
a story that took place one day as he recalls his moments with Yuki.
His humming echo..he still heard it in the air. No words can describe it, he can't help asking himself to recall the past that he won't let go,
His warm touch, he still remember its feeling.
He regrets the words he said at last.
He regrets the tomorrow without him.
The audience starts to clap for Mafuyu & the others,
Ugetsu realizes that….and is left speechless.
with Ritsuka putting his arm around his neck & walking back with him…
with Ritsuka looking down at him..
Looking up, Mafuyu glanced at him...
..about to shed a tear…..
the two sets of thin lips softly touch yet inseparable. Mafuyu hadn't even decided what to do.. He was suddenly powerless. before the lips finally left reluctantly.
From the kiss, Mafuyu felt weakness under his legs, almost light-headed.
Energy came into his legs only after he leaned against the wall for some more time. before simply sat on the floor for a while longer.,
He finally managed to open his heart once again.. with tears falling down..
if only Mafuyu could talk to Yuki...
Yuki knew that Mafuyu liked music.. he wants to write him a song .. but Yuki never made to ask him because.. he had known that Mafuyu prefer to writes the song tght rather than being given one.
...
One who came to replace his broken heartstring ..when he thought it can never be fixed again..
to the point his heartstrings are about to snap.. He's the one who tighten them up..
that's lovely isn't it? Hiiragi tells.
and the two boys sitting next to each other on that railing and thats how the series end.
*Will there be a continuation of the live action version?
even though there's still no official word, but the future does appear bright for our fandom

At the time of this video making, Given has not been officially renewed for season 2, but the anime series is expected to return for an encore., since.. The original manga is still ongoing, with volume seven scheduled to launch in Japan on December 1st, 2021.
Those who watched the anime series
already knew that Season 1, mainly focused on the relationship of Ritsuka and Mafuyu,
while the anime movie explored the bond between Haruki, Akihiko and Ugetsu.
Season 2 might probably continue building upon the existing relationships of the band members.
