• GIVEN Live-Action Episode 3 Storyline

    Ritsuka has been working really hard on something and wouldn't come out to eat and just kept fiddling with his guitar.

    Ritsuka is left sleeping with his head on the desk while Kasai try to call his name. Mafuyu comes by the classroom door and asks Shogo and Ryuu if Ritsuka is here.

    The two leave the classroom with Kasai becoming jealous and speechless about what happened. Kasai's friend tells her that she went to the same middle school as Mafuyu and that they're certain rumors about him.

    Ritsuka is teaching Mafuyu guitar at school as usual 

    Mafuyu asks Ritsuka if he's been working on something lately. 

    Ritsuka tells Mafuyu that he's writing a song for him with Mafuyu lighting up. Ritsuka plays a little bit of the song for Mafuyu with Mafuyu sparkling with joy.


    Ritsuka tells him that he's going to be on the guitar and vocals.


    Akihiko spent the night at Haruki’s place, after talking with his band about going to do a live show. 

    Haruki begins to feel tired and lays down on his bed. Haruki stares at Akihiko for a little bit before Haruki snaps out of it and begins to feel embarrassed. 


    Kasai talks to Ritsuka and tells him that Mafuyu seems to like him. Kasai tells Ritsuka that Mafuyu was dating another boy in middle school, but died last year with rumours that Mafuyu was part of the reason for his death. Kasai tells Ritsuka that getting involved with him might be dangerous. Ritsuka realizes that the world started to move quickly around him, until it came to a screeching halt.


    Kasai continues to tell Ritsuka that Mafuyu's childhood friend, Yuki Yoshida, did in fact die. 

    Ritsuka begins to have a flashback of that one guy asking about Mafuyu's guitar ….

    with him having a weird feeling that is twisting up his stomach.


    Haruki is at his part-time job when his friend, Hiiragi walks over to Mafuyu to ask if he started playing music because he's trying to move on or he just can't let go of the past. However, Mafuyu tells him that he's not really sure, either.


    Ritsuka begins to think deeply and by not having to breathe a word to anybody that day. 

    Yayoi and Akihiko arrive with Akihiko telling Ritsuka that Mafuyu's voice is screaming without actually screaming. A better approach is to reframe that feeling as excitement - a sensation that causes arousal of emotion and curiosity.

    Akihiko tells Ritsuka that Mafuyu should write the lyrics and that Ritsuka was thinking the exact same thing.


    At the studio, Mafuyu tells Ritsuka that he doesn't think he can do it. 

    Haruki suggests writing about past love relationships. 

    Ritsuka thinks about how Haruki's advice is the worst possible thing that he can bring up.


    Haruki becomes surprised by Mafuyu's question. Mafuyu tells Haruki that if that person suddenly disappeared from this world, what would he say? 


    Haruki unable to answer the question, tells Mafuyu that he doesn't know what to say. Mafuyu telling him neither do I and makes his way out of the studio.


    Shogo, and Ryuu discuss the sports championship, while Ritsuka's falling asleep, Ryuu tells Ritsuka that he can take a nap and will call him when they're ready. 


    Ritsuka sees the one he wants to avoid the most at the moment.

    Mafuyu tells him that he once had someone he truly loved and he desperately wants to say something to him, therefore he's feeling like writing the lyrics.

    The moment Ritsuka starts to have an urge about Mafuyu.. 

    and for real it's the ideal and actual fact that he's definitely jealous.
